Wings Bama Style

White Sauce in Alabama is a staple. It is creamy and tangy and pairs very well on chicken. This recipe was easy to make and delicious. Give it a try we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

The Sauce:

·         2 Cups of Mayonnaise

·         1/2 Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar

·         2 TBSP of Prepared Horseradish

·         2 TBSP of Dijon Mustard

·         2 TBSP of Lemon Juice

·         2 TSP Coarse Black Pepper

·         1 TSP Salt

·         ½ TSP Cayenne Pepper

·         ½ TSP Granulated Garlic Powder

Combine all the above ingredients in a bowl, whisk until blended well and smooth. Refrigerate until your wings are ready to be coated.

For this cook we used our Weber Kettle, set up for indirect cooking.

We ran the Weber between 350 and 400 degrees.

We used our charcoal baskets to setup the coals in the center of the grill.

We kept it simple and just coated our wings lightly with our favorite BBQ Rub.

Once the grill was up to temp we placed the wings around the outside of the fire ring, to cook indirect.

After 30 minutes we flipped our wings. After another 45 minutes our wings were ready for the sauce.

You want to make sure to probe your wings to make sure they are at least at 165 degrees.

We dipped each individual wing into the sauce and returned to the grill for about 10 minutes.

We did reserve some of the white sauce prior to dipping for future use.

Serve and Enjoy!
