Smoked Country Style Ribs
This week we went with an old standby, Country Style Ribs. This is an easy recipe that can be done on any smoker. They are still a fairly inexpensive option to feed a lot of people. We hope you enjoy the video and give this recipe a try!
• 4 LBS of Country Style Ribs
• 1/4 Cup of Killer Hogs AP or your favorite
• 1/4 Cup Rylee’s Sweet Rapture BBQ Rub
• 1 Stick of butter
• 1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
• 1/4 Cup of Honey
• 1/4 Cup of Daigle’s Peach Heat
We used our Big Green Egg for this cook with our plate setter for indirect cooking, powered by Jealous Devil Chunk Charcoal and a couple chunks of Post Oak. Coat the ribs using the Killer Hogs AP and Rylee’s Sweet Rapture. Once your Egg reaches 275 degrees, place your ribs on the grate making sure there is space in between each one. In a foil half pan, place the brown sugar, butter and honey. Place the ribs in the pan and drizzle the top with the Peach Heat. Cover with either a foil lid or a sheet of foil and place back on the smoker. Once the ribs have reached between 205 – 208 degrees remove from heat. We dipped/coated the ribs in the juice in the pan and then placed back on the BGE for 15 min or until the glaze set up. Remove and serve!
