We wanted to throw a simple recipe together for our recent block party and this smoked cream cheese was a big hit with everyone. It was easy to do and quite tasty, it disappeared quickly!

• 2 Blocks of Cream Cheese

• 2 TSP of Olive Oil

• 3 TBSP of Steak Princess Sweet Rapture

• 3 TBSP of Spiceology Everything Bagel

For this cook we used our RT 700, and set it at 250 degrees using a blend of Oak & Hickory Pellets. Remove the cream cheese from the packaging. I prepped the cheese right on the foil wrapper for easy clean up. Use 1 TSP of the oil on each block of cheese, coat thoroughly. Coat each block on all sides using the rubs above. Flip the cheese over and cut hatch marks on the top, oil and then season the top. I placed the blocks of cheese on an oval cast iron skillet that I had oiled lightly. Place the cheese in the smoker for 2 hours, checking it at the 1.5 mark. Remove the cheese from the smoker and top with your favorite bacon jam or cranberry relish, serve with crackers and enjoy!
