We sourced this Turkey Breast from the Butcher Shoppe in Pensacola FL. It was by far the best turkey breast we have ever cooked! This turkey was tender, juicy and packed full of flavor! A really simple recipe and you can use any grill/smoker or heck cook it in the oven!
· 5-6 LB Boneless Turkey Breast
· 1 ¼ Sticks of Butter
· 2 TBSP of Rylee’s Firefly Dust Cajun Seasoning
· 1 TSP of Garlic Powder
For this cook we used our Big Green Egg cooking indirect at 275 Degrees. I used two apple wood chucks for flavor. We melted the butter, we then stirred in the Cajun Seasoning and Garlic powder until mixed thoroughly. We then injected the butter into the turkey breast about every inch or so. Use the remainder of the butter as a binder and then dust the outside with the Cajun seasoning to your liking. We placed the turkey on the smoker for one hour and half hours. At this point we wrapped it in foil and placed it back on the smoker until the internal temp reached 165 Degrees.
