Brisket & Cheese Stuffed Jalapeños

This recipe is a great appetizer. It would be a great finger food for picnics or tailgating in the fall. We have done these several ways and decided this time to use ground brisket burger. The taste was on point, the crispiness of the bacon not so much. But hey, like always make the recipe your own!
• 6 Jalapenos
• 1LB of Brisket Burger
• 1 Block of Cream Cheese
• 12 Slices of Bacon
• 2 TSP of BBQ Rub
Brown your brisket burger in a medium skillet, add 1 tsp of the rub.
While the burger is browning, slice your peppers in half and remove any seeds.
Cool burger completely. Mix burger and cheese thoroughly.
Using a spoon fill each half of the peppers with the mixture. Wrap the peppers in the bacon and place on a wire rack.
We used our pellet smoker for this recipe. We had it set at 275 degrees.
Cook until the bacon is crispy, coat with your favorite BBQ sauce and serve!
