Grilled To Perfection With Sweet Apples And Onions

Every once in a while we enjoy some nice thick pork chops. And hey, what goes better with pork…how about some apples?!? We reduced down some apples with brown sugar to make a great topping. Super simple. All you need is a gas grill. We hope you enjoy!
• 2 Thick Center Cut Chops Bone in
• 1 TSP of Salt
• 1 TSP of Black Pepper
• 2 TBSP Sweet BBQ Rub
• 1/2 Stick of Butter
• 1/2 Onion Sliced Thin
• 2 Gloves of Garlic
• 1 Thinly Sliced Apple
• 1/3 Cup of Brown Sugar
Set your gas grill for medium high heat.
Season the chops with the salt, pepper and BBQ Rub.
Let stand for 15 minutes.
Place your chops on the grill and turn 90 degrees after 3-4 minutes.
Flip the chops and repeat the proceeding step.
Place the chops on the cool side of your grill and cook indirectly bringing them up to at least 145 degrees internal temp. While the Chops are finishing melt the butter in a skillet, add the apple, onions and garlic.
When the onions are tender add the brown sugar and let reduce.
If the mixture becomes too thick add some apple juice.
Place the mixture on top of the chops to serve!
