Crispy Chicken Wings
on the Weber Kettle

If your family is like ours, we love wings! We enjoy trying them different ways to incorporate a variation in flavors.
For this cook we used corn starch on half the wings to see if it would add a crunchy coating. We also used a new rub and sauce combination for this video. It turned out amazing!
• 3 LBS of Chicken Wings
• 5 TBSP of Blazing Star Reaper Rub
• 1/2 Cup of Corn Starch
• 1/2 Cup of Blazing Star Asian Bang Sauce
We used our Weber Kettle for this video using our charcoal baskets and keeping the fire in the middle of the Kettle. You want to adjust your vents so the Weber is running at around 375 degrees. Wash all of your wings thoroughly and place on a wire rack. Pat dry, coat half of the wings liberally with the rub. Add the other half of the wings to a sealable bag along with the corn starch and 3 TBSP of the rub. Shake until all of the wings are completely coated. Remove from the bag and place back on the rack. Add more rub if you like. Place the wings on the Kettle around the outside of the fire. Cook wings for 1 to 1.5 hours or until they reach 165 degrees. Remove wings and sauce them. Place wings back on Kettle until the sauce sets up. Remove and enjoy!
